Being a dad has brought out the desire in me to be as creative as possible. I try to take funny pictures, beautiful pictures, etc. Something that The Wife will love. Something that The Understudy will cherish when he grows up. People look at some of the things I do and say, “Awww. You’re such a great dad.” That’s all great, but this guy… He is the World’s Best Father. Hands down.
Are you tired of being winded reaching for your phone? Do you keep pulling on your shirts because they are “getting smaller”? Have you quipped on a picture, “Ho-Ho’s are not a hobby, sir” only to realize it’s you in the picture. This salad is a great icebreaker towards eating right. Continue reading
Parenting can take you every which way and upside-down. Don’t believe us? Watch these Olympic parents.
This brings me back! I remember back in the 80’s trying to teach my Ma how to play Super Mario Bros. I thought it was cool that she wanted to learn, but when she played… Oh boy! She would throw her arms up to jump as if that would help her. I laughed hysterically and 20+ years later, I still find it… Wait… She was actually on to something. Isn’t that what the new game systems are? It’s the Wii. Aww, man. If I could go back in time, I’d be rich. Rich, I say!
Kudos to Buick Regal for their most recent Dadvertising Commercials!
Being a parent is a tag team effort. Some days nothing seems to go right. Everything you try, fails and you feel like the worst parent in the world. It’s great to have a partner that can step in and give a hand when you are down.
Pat: It’s got a cop motor, a four hundred and forty cubic inch plant, it’s got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks, it’s a model made before catalytic converters, so it’ll run good on regular gas. What do you say? Is it the new Dadsmobile or what?
Kepley: You did all that to a minivan? Why would a minivan need cop ANYTHING?
Pat: It’s 7 miles to the park, there’s an hour ’til naptime, we’ve got a minivan full of kids, and we’re wearing suits.
Kepley: Hit it.
I am a stay-at-home dad of two young boys. My wife is a flight attendant and leaves me on my own with our boys for days at a time while she travels the friendly skies. My boys and I greatly appreciate the sacrifice she makes every time she goes to work, so that we can have a parent at home with our children. This Valentine’s Day she is working in the morning, but will be able to make it home for a Valentine’s dinner with me. I wanted to do something special for her to make the day go a little quicker. My wife loves two things; humor and cleanliness. I decided to combine the two in this Digital Valentine in hopes of enticing her into a frenzy before she arrives home.
I think we’re going to have a good night.
