Getting my kids to eat vegetables is like showering with sandpaper. I am always trying to find new ways to get my kids to eat vegetables without them knowing it. The so called “sneaky” foods are terrible and I end up throwing most of it away. It is an uphill battle, but occasionally I claim victory. Amazeballs is a recipe that is sure to pass the test for any picky eater who loves spaghetti and meatballs.
1 lb. of ground beef
1/4 cup of spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
1/4 cup of chopped veggies (spinach, broccoli, carrots…etc)
1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp of Dijon Mustard
2 tsp of garlic salt
Easy as it gets here, folks.
Knead it all together so that the consistency is al dente. What am I supposed to say, “Till it’s meaty?” Add more breadcrumbs if it’s soupy. Spray a cookie sheet and roll the meat into 1″ to 2″ balls.
Spray again over the top of the Amazeballs and place the sheet in the oven at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
